Some people have a gift known as passing sight, they claim to be able to detect a faint glow about a person that tells them of their moods and desires. This spell gives the Black Cloak a similar power, with it they may detect a person’s general emotional state and well-being (how much damage they have taken) from the dim colours playing about them.
